There are many problems in the production of profiled section metal wire such as low precision, low strength, bad surface quality, low dimensional consistency and low efficiency and so on. As an innovative profiled wire provider, ZEGOTA researched and developed high precision profiled wire rolling mill which has high precision, high efficiency and automatic operation and can replace traditional production process like die drawing and roll drawing. It solved radius forming precision and straightness problems. AT present, more than 12 relative patents are approved.

Ingenious use of hydraulic system to eliminate bearing clearance, and to cooperate with turbine scroll servo motor for rolling, and combined with roll drawing process, using double roller traction take-up, which form a fully automated, complex shape, high precision, high quality and high efficiency rolling mill, steel wire with large deformation rate, R angle filling easily, thickness accuracy can reach 0.005mm or less. Width can be less than 0.005mm. Straightness can be as high as 0.5mm/m due to double roller traction take-up.

Several common profiles

The traditional rolling process is too simple to process quadrate and similar profiles. The die drawing process can process these profiles, but the cost of die is too high, it’s difficult to make, and the sharp corners can’t be fully filled, the last profile can’t be molded. Cutting (Machining) technology is unable to process such special-shaped wires. High-precision profiled cold rolling technology can completely make the above complex profiles, through the hydraulic system to ensure dimensional accuracy, through the roll-drawing process, large deformation of steel wire, four-roller closed combination to complete the complex shape forming, through double-drum traction to ensure the straightness of wire, thus using the simplest process flow, to achieve the best results.

ZEGOTA developed high-precision profiled cold rolling technology to form the rolling mill produced by the high-precision profiled wire has been applied to the automotive industry, such as engine piston rings, gearbox spring, wiper, seat adjusting rod, shock absorber spring and so on. It also applies to the oil filtering industry, such as triangular filter wire, filter system support rod, and so on, as well as the heat dissipation of generator rotor in the hydroelectric power industry.
